Acolyte – teaching our children to lead in worship services

Anniversary Committee – celebrating our 86th Anniversary

Appreciation Committee – appreciating the church members and our Pastor

Bereavement – providing food to those that have lost love ones

Bookstore – providing books to ministers in training through the Board of Examiners, local, and other churches throughout the 5th District and individuals

Christian Education – enriching and enhancing our lives through our Sunday School and Bible studies

Class Leaders Council – connecting our members through their caring

Clergy – shepherding the congregation toward a closer walk with God

Conflict Resolution Committee – made up of three stewards who hear concerns and forward recommendations in writing to the Pastor that will help address and resolve issues in a timely manner

Day in the Park – actively praying with the community and ministering to those in need

Economic Development – leading our contribution to the connectional fund

Flower Club – enhancing the worship experience by providing beautiful arrangements

God Can – providing support for those that have lost a loved one

Lay Organization – providing a voice for the body of the church

Lend a Hand – working behind the scenes to help and support efforts for the church

Music – Leading our worship through praise and song

Music School – providing music lessons (guitar and piano) to the community for a nominal fee

New Members Seminar – leading our new members to the Right Hand of fellowship

Outdoor Fellowship – the culmination of Vacation Bible School with food, game, and fun for all

Parish Nurse – keeping us healthy by screening an counting our steps

Photographer – visually recording the life of the church

Prayer Circles – strengthening our bond through small group prayer

Public Relations – helping us to prepare materials to communicate who we are to the world outside

Social Action Initiatives – bringing social issues to the congregation in a meaningful way

Sons of Allen – providing leadership and help in any of the events of the church

Stewardesses – providing support in the most important events ~ Communion and Baptism

Stewards – trending to the spiritual needs of this faith community

Stewardship and Finance Commission – overseeing our fiscal matters

Tape – providing a taped recording of each Sunday’s worship service for a small fee

Thanksgiving/Christmas Food Drive – feeding over 600 needy families

Transportation – ensuring all those that need a ride have a ride

Trustees – taking great care of our beautiful buildings

Ushers – an army assisting and supporting in worship

Wedding Coordination – supporting the union of couples in our sanctuary

Women’s Missionary Society – leading our church in a benefit walkathon

Young People’s Department – hosting the YPD connectional revival
